An iPhone 14 Pro Max battery test reveals a surprise!

Apple’s new iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Pro Max, was tested for battery life away from the announced numbers, and the results showed a surprising difference compared to the previous generation.

Chinese network My Drivers conducted a professional test for the batteries of the last two generations of Apple phones, comparing the iPhone 13 with the iPhone 14, the iPhone 13 Pro with the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max with the iPhone 14 Pro.

In the report, the six phones were connected to the same Wi-Fi network, with the volume level at 50%, and the screen lighting level at 25%.

The test began to use the phones for a period of 30 minutes, continuous browsing of the Douyin application, which is the Chinese version of Tik Tok, and the iPhone 14 Pro appears to have consumed the most energy out of the group and reached 97% of the battery life, while the process consumed 1% to 2% of the remaining battery. Group members.

After the process continued for two hours of continuous browsing without stopping for the same application, the iPhone 13 Pro Max was the best in terms of consuming the least amount of energy and stopped at 90% of the battery capacity, while the 14 Pro Max consumed 87% less energy.

A 30-minute video call over WeChat was the second stage of the test, and the iPhone 14 Pro consumed the most energy, and its battery capacity decreased to less than 60%, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max’s battery capacity remained at 72%.

As a result of shooting a 4K video for 30 minutes on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the battery capacity decreased to 50%, the best result so far, and it ranked second to the iPhone 14 Pro Max with 45%.

After shooting the video, the iPhone 13 came in third with 35% of its battery remaining, while the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 were at 27%.

A total of 6 hours and 47 minutes passed before the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro ran out of battery, and the iPhone 14 Pro followed suit without much change.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max battery lasted 7 hours and 24 minutes, compared to 7 hours and 16 minutes for the iPhone 13, and 15% remained in the battery, compared to 20% in the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

This test revealed that the iPhone 14 Pro Max is no better in terms of actual battery life than its predecessor, as it stopped working completely at 8 hours and 31 minutes of testing, compared to 9 hours and 3 minutes for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
