Realme held a press conference in China to introduce the first phone of the upcoming new generation, the Realme 10. Despite the improvements the company made over the previous generation, the first model was still a midrange model.
With the new Realme 10, the company has placed a high priority on performance and efficiency, abandoning Snapdragon processors for MediaTek processors of this generation.
Specifications of Realme 10
Powered by an eight-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor, the phone supports 5G connectivity. This processor offers 40% more performance than the previous generation Snapdragon processor and consumes 20% less energy, which means more battery hours. .
There are three RAM options available with this processor: 4, 6 or 8 GB, which can be digitally upgraded by an additional 8 GB.
Data transfer speeds will be faster than in previous generations because the company uses UFS 2.2 technology in its internal storage, which ranges from 64 to 256 GB in exchange for random memory.
Realme 10 features a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a touch response speed of 360 Hz, and a brightness of 1000 nits, protected by a fifth-generation Gorilla Glass.
Considering the camera and photography, it seems the company focused more on performance than photography, so Realme 10 features a dual-lens rear camera with a 50-megapixel sensor.
There is no ultra-wide angle sensor on the second lens, which is used for zoom and isolation.
The Realme 9 of the previous year came with a primary sensor of 108 megapixels and a secondary sensor of 8 megapixels.

A full charge of the battery takes 70 minutes and 28 minutes to charge 50% of the battery, according to the company. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports fast charging up to 33 watts.
Approximately $ 230 will be the price for the lowest Realme 10 option with 4 GB of memory and 64 GB of storage.
The 4/128 GB option will cost $250 and the 6/128 GB option will cost 270.
